I have been working in the digital world for over 20 years with increasingly sophisticated systems built specifically to make the computer another great medium for creating art.
As I have studied Taoism is has gradually dawned on me that the computer is a marvelous expression of the Tao in action. The binary logic of the computer... simply 0 and 1, quite naturally leads to literally billions of combinations that make up the digital world. This is exactly the same dance that the whole universe is doing. Nature vibrates between on and off, birth and death. This is the great humming of the Tao, the binary nature of reality.
